Hockey Manager (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of our players, coaches, and parents. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it safe.

1. Information We Collect

  • Player and parent names
  • Team membership
  • Player numbers and roster details
  • Game statistics, goals, and performance data
  • Email addresses used for login and password resets
  • Device notification tokens when you enable notifications

2. How We Use the Information

Your information is used only to support team operations, including:

  • Managing rosters and player profiles
  • Displaying game lineups and stats
  • Enabling coaches to organize team materials
  • Providing a secure login to the platform
  • Sending team and game notifications you choose to receive

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell or share your personal information with third-party advertisers. Data is only shared with:

  • Coaches and team administrators for team operations
  • Supabase (our secure backend provider) to store user accounts
  • Apple to deliver notifications to your device
  • Resend to deliver transactional and support email

We do not use personal information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

4. Data Security

All data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and protected through Supabase authentication and row-level security policies. Only authorized team members can access team information.

5. Your Rights

You can update your profile or permanently delete your account from Settings. Account deletion removes your login, profile, device notification tokens, and team memberships. Shared team records—such as completed games, lineups, and statistics—may remain so other team members retain an accurate team history. You may also contact us to request access, correction, or deletion.

6. Retention and Choices

We retain account information while your account is active and only as long afterward as reasonably necessary for security, legal, and operational obligations. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings. Thunder does not request access to your contacts, location, microphone, camera, or photo library.

7. Children's Privacy

Thunder supports youth sports teams but is intended for account use by coaches, team administrators, parents, and guardians. Team administrators must have appropriate parent or guardian permission before entering information about a minor. Contact us if you believe a child's information was provided without appropriate permission.
